Rob STOCKI (Paralegal)

Rob STOCKI

Rob STOCKI joined the Ottawa Police in 1997. His career spanned patrol, traffic as a motorcycle officer, neighbourhood officer, police diver, range officer, intoxilyzer technician and detective. For ten years Rob was responsible for updating the police service on changes in Ontario Provincial Statutes and providing officers with the tools necessary for effective traffic enforcement.

As a result of his dedicated involvement with the service and community, he was invited to speak on Parliament Hill in Ottawa to a special Senate committee regarding issues in policing and law.

Rob was promoted to the rank of Sergeant making him one of the youngest Sergeants in the service.

After 13 years of policing, Rob decided to serve the community in another capacity. Today, you can count on him to provide you with fair, frank and effective defence in Provincial Offences court. Since taking over the Ottawa HELP office in January 2009, Rob has effectively assisted hundreds of clients.

Rob is trained in the use of LASER and RADAR speed detection equipment making him an effective ally to have on your side.

Amy MOORE (Office Manager)

Amy MOORE

Amy Moore joined the Ottawa HELP office in September 2009 after a previous career in the financial industry. Amy is responsible for organizing office scheduling and keeping track of letters, disclosure, court dates, clients and other legal issues.

Ms MOORE has completed a degree in Law from Carleton University.

Amy is a welcome and excellent addition to the Ottawa HELP office and she looks forward to assisting you with your case.

John McMUNAGLE (Lawyer)

John McMUNAGLE

John McMUNAGLE has been practising law for over 25 years. He has an impressive history of success and is certified by the Law Society of Upper Canada as a Specialist in Criminal Law. Currently, Mr. McMUNAGLE practices predominantly in the area of criminal defence trial litigation before the Ontario Court of Justice and the Superior court of Justice throughout Eastern Ontario.

Mr. McMUNAGLE is also a member of the Canadian Armed Forces, Reserves, JAG (Judge Advocate General) Corps. He's assigned to Directorate Defence Counsel Services, to represent members of the Air Force, Army and Navy who are charged with breaches of the National Defence Act, Queens Regulations and Orders, the Code of Service Discipline and/or any other Federal legislation before various Courts Martial as convened throughout Canada and the rest of the World.

Mr. McMUNAGLE currently holds of the rank of Lieutenant-Commander.

Dave GORDON (Pardon Applications)

Dave GORDON

Dave GORDON joined the Ottawa HELP office in August 2009. After over 35 years of policing, Mr. GORDON retired and decided to help others in another capacity - Pardon Applications

Mr. GORDON worked his final years at the Ottawa Police Headquarters - located at 474 Elgin Street, at front desk services. In his capacity there he assisted clients with the processing of pardon applications. He observed that many people were submitting their applications with errors or other irregularities resulting in the delay or even denial of the pardon application.

Today Mr. GORDON is putting his skills and knowledge to work for you. Whether you are a person who has made a mistake and wants to start fresh, or if you are a person who will need to cross international borders for employment purposes, Mr. GORDON can assist you in obtaining your pardon as soon as possible.
